Shannon Mortimer grew up in Rochester, New York and began her training there. She enjoyed four intense years in the ballet program at Belhaven College, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet performance.

Upon graduation, Shannon moved to Kansas City to dance with Storling Dance Theatre. After only a year there, she married and moved to New York City to be with her husband as he finished his Master's degree. In New York she was accepted as a company member to the New York Theatre Ballet and she also danced with Opus Dance Theatre.

Shannon has recently returned to Kansas City and is pursuing her certification in Pilates. Shannon is delighted be warmly welcomed into the ATRM family!
